Computer slow to shut down?

Greetings,

Does your computer seem to take an eternity to shut down? A simple setting may be causing this annoying delay and it’s an easy fix.

Check your "Enable Offline Files" setting. Here’s how...

In Windows Explorer, click on Tools on the menu bar, Folder Options, Offline Files. Check to see if Enable Offline Files or Synchronize all offline files before logging off are selected. Enabling these options will cause Windows to synchronize specified network files prior to shut down which may slow the shutdown process.

Have a wonderful day!
